Officers responded to a Middlesex Road home early on Saturday, July 27, where there was a report of vandalism and trespassing.
The groundskeeper told investigators that for the past two weeks, someone had been accessing a pool on the property and leaving garbage, such as beer cans, all over the grounds. He noted that damage had also been done to a piece of a fountain that was on the property.
Investigators were able to view a surveillance video that showed four teenage boys in the pool from approximately midnight to 2 a.m. that morning - and due to their proximity to the camera - were able to identify their faces.
Police said that three of the four teens were identified and contact was made with them and their parents. All three were issued citations for trespassing, but denied any involvement in damaging the fountain. They were also warned not to trespass again on the property.
